Recently I treated myself to another Royal Read, the story of Desirée Clary who used to be Nopoleon's fiance and later became queen of Sweden and Norway.
I have only just begun reading but so far I'm liking it. It is a true story about the life of Desirée Clary and it begins with her describing how she has just received a gift from her father: a diary. The storyteller is Desirée herself.
