Royal wedding of HRH Prince Carl Philip of Sweden and
Miss Sofia Hellqvist who after the wedding will be known as HRH Princess Sofia of Sweden.
The bride wears a wedding dress which is the design and creation of Swedish designer Ida Sjöstedt. Her tiara is a gift from her parents in law, the king and queen of Sweden.

The bridesmaids also wear dresses by Ida. Princess Estelle is one of the bridesmaids. The other bridesmaids are Tiara Larsson and twins Anaïs Sommerlath and Chloé Sommerlath.
What a wonderful wedding ceremony. So personal and romantic. And modern might I add.
The bride walked down the isle to Enyas Athair ar Neamh with her father, Erik Hellqvist.
The grooms sister, Crown Princess Victoria read The First Letter to the Corinthians (Love is patient, love is kind..) and the brides sisters read The Letter to the Romans and The Song of Solomon.
Salem Al Fakir sang Fix You by Coldplay
David Pagmar sang Paraply which is his Swedish translation of Rihannas Umbrella.

Crown Princess Victoria wears a dress by H&M from the Conscious collection.

Prince Carl Philip receives a standing ovation after giving his speech, which is very personal and emotional. "Love conquers all. You are the best Sofia, I love you."
Sofia announces she has something for the prince, and its not a speech. She has written a song together with Molly Sandén a Swedish singer, the lyrics are Sofias.

Through this article I got privilege to see the photographs from this royal wedding. I love royal weddings and thinking to have a royal wedding ceremony at one of the best royal wedding DC venues. I’ll get married by the end of this year.
