According to a registry at buy buy BABY, Madeleine and Chris are expecting a baby girl on 25 February 2014!

Updated 5 November 2013: It has been confirmed by the Royal Court that Madeleine is expecting a girl.

A Baby Boy for Andrea Casiraghi and Tatiana Santo Domingo

Andrea Casiraghi and his fiance Tatiana Santo Domingo had a baby boy on 21. 3. 2013. The baby boy is Princess Caroline of Monaco's first grand child and has not been given name yet.

Update: According to Spanish Magazine Hola the baby boy will be named Sacha.

A little fun fact: The cardigan is knitted by Crown Princess Victoria's maternal grandmother, Alice. How cute. The photo was taken 27 February 2012 at Haga slot, Sweden where the royal family of three lives.

... was uploaded to the Swedish Royal Court's Facebook page today as the Crownprincess couple were seen leaving The Karolinska University hospital in Sweden.

A new Princess for Sweden

Finally the wait is over for their royal highnesses, Sweden and all of the world. The Swedish Royal court has announced that Crown Princess Victoria gave birth to a Princess at 4.26 a.m. The Princess is 51 cm long and weighs 3280 grams. Mother and baby are both doing good. 


Unlike Danish tradition the names and dukedom of the new Princess will be announced by the King tomorrow. 

As you may know, I predicted it would be a boy... boy was I wrong. However I did predict she would give birth in the period between 15-29 February so I am not totally wrong. Now, we need to speculate on baby names. Any suggestions?

Sweden prepares for an early royal baby birth

The Swedish police was seen at the Karolinska University hospital in Solna, Sweden on Sunday to rehearse putting up barriers as they will do when Crown Princess Victoria will go into labor.

On Friday some of the parking spots were reserved at the Karolinska University hospital and is this is said to indicate that the birth of the Swedish heir will take place at Karolinska in Solna any day now though nothing is confirmed yet.
